hello forum,
as you can guess, brand new to Pd, been playing with it for a week or so and having good luck until tonight when the output abstraction I had saved and placed a few times in different patches failed to load into a new patch, although it is still there and working (and loadable) into patches that already have it...? I have it saved as output~.pd, and as I said I was putting into place with no problems until now.....
I looked for an answer on here with no luck, so I hope someone can shed a light on this. Thanks for a great resource!

Missed your original post there Don. Glad you sorted it. A couple of things when starting to play with abstractions - put them in the current directory until you are completely familiar with how Pd searches its paths, avoid spaces in file and directory names.
