I'm a little out of practice and also probably Pdumb. I just threw together this poorly labeled patch for drones and I've been playing with it and there's a sort of frittering sound, a skitchy ticking, all of the time.

There are two checkboxes. The first runs the patch, the second turns recording on and off so you can sort of ease in and out. The slider just feeds the output back into the input in a sort of brute force way.

I'm sure a lot of things could be nicer/more dynamic. I am planning on hashing out how to create different sizes of arrays as they are needed, and I know there's a way to turn dsp on and off for various subpatches that I don't remember, but I just banged this out in between appointments while auditioning actors for a thing. So it's a rough prototype. But I have had this frittering issue before and I want to not anymore.

Thanks for any feedback.

Is there a size limit? I'm trying to upload a 5 megabyte zip file.

The limit is 100000 bytes. I'm assuming you're including sound files? If you really think it's necessary to include them, upload the file somewhere else and link to it. Otherwise, just don't include them. Pd patches themselves are pretty small.

I was being a dope and I didn't uncheck the "save contents" box on my arrays.
This should be better. So: weird clicky frittering, what is it?
