<![CDATA[Slider to Key Stroke]]>Hello

I'm new here and to Pd. I was wondering if there is a way to assign a key stroke to a slider? I have a slider that controls the frequency of a oscillator and want to assign it to the up/down keys in my keyboard. I'm on a MacBook Pro. Is this possible?

Is it also possible to make the slider also function with the mouse at the same time so i can use either or?
