<![CDATA[two mirrored forum sites? forum.puredata and forum.pdpatchrepo]]>why are there two seemingly identical sites hosting the same content but with slightly different URLs?

I get confused every time I go look up my auth stuff for this forum, because I have an account registered for forum.pdpatchrepo.info, but not its identical (evil?) twin forum.puredata.info.

I know that @Eeight has been thinking about updating the forum as the NodeBB version is ancient.
Maybe he has cloned it for testing?

forum.puredata.info is a subdomain of puredata.info and puredata.info is the Pure data info site I think run by Miller, so I think we can forget the "evil" moniker.
But unsure and will have to await a response from @Eeight

If so, it's weird that they require different credentials.

That's been long written in ROM, not available in my RAM for sure... I think it was because the initial forum was also hosted on puredata.info, I simply configured the webserver to accept both domain. Same site, same everything. If it works don't touch anything has been lately my favorite quote.
