Thank you a lot for providing these. I watched the whole serie in a raw. Your clips are very interesting and I am waiting for the next ones to come.<br />
Really enjoyable is the &quot;instrument&quot; approach : strings, pluck strings, rich oscillator.<br />
Some small criticisms if I may :</p>
<ul>
<li>One would expect some choices which are made to be explained (i.e. expr~ $v1&gt;$v2) or why 2051 points in the table for the wavetable.</li>
<li>The same for resonance of filters ( which BTW a missing info in Pd docs, the higher limits are rarely stated)</li>
<li>To better fit the title of the video serie, would  it be possible to reach more realistic sound ?</li>
</ul>
<p>Some suggestions :  FM bells, Wind and Sea, Wind chimes, Percussions and Drums,..</p>

Good point on the details - we've been trying to keep the videos short and compact, so some issues get skirted over, but I think you are right - these things should be explained.</p>
<p>I'm not quite sure what you mean about realism though - the title is &quot;rich&quot; which for us implies lots of less realistic things. FM is very rich, but doesn't have to simulate anything specific! That said, those are all good ideas - some chime ones will come soon I think. We have a percussion one coming soon, but this will be more about emulating classic synthesised drums rather than simulating real drum sounds. Andy Farnell does some really good PD things for wind and sea in his Designing Sound book, so I don't think we can really add much there, although perhaps video tutorials of these things would be nice too.</p>

Totally forgot this point : Not being an English native, I wanted to congratulate you for the quality, the clarity and pronounciation of the voice and of the text.  This is a real &quot;plus&quot; compared  to many videos when the speaker mumbles behind the ambient noise!<br />
